Bebeto Freeze Dried Sweets boast an "unexpected crispy crunch and a sweet fruity flavour"

Aldi is set to launch viral sensation Bebeto Freeze Dried Sweets across stores this Sunday, priced at just £1.99.

The 35g bags will be available in a UK supermarket first from February 2 after taking social media by storm.

But shoppers will need to act quickly to secure their bags of the trendy treats. As they form part of Aldi's Specialbuys range, Britons have been warned that "once they're gone, they're gone".

Specialbuys are the "unique and exciting products that you find at Aldi - from DIY, kitchenware, garden furniture to sports, camping and everything in between".

The new products land in stores every Thursday and Sunday at "unbelievable prices".

The Bebeto Freeze Dried Sweets come in two "tantalising" varieties: retro Peach Rings and refreshing Watermelon Slices.

Created through an innovative freezing process, these "first-of-their-kind" treats are made by removing liquid from gummy sweets, causing them to double in size.

The unique manufacturing method results in an "unexpected" texture, combining a "crispy crunch with sweet fruity flavours".

The quirky snacks mark a new addition to the confectionery market, offering shoppers a novel twist on traditional gummy sweets.

This comes as Aldi introduces a sparkling twist on Portuguese green wine with its £6.99 Mimo Moutinho Vinho Verde.

Mistress of Wine Sam Caporn endorsed the new offering, describing it as "the perfect hybrid between a fruity wine and a fizz, with notes of apricot, peach, nectarine and mango".

The expert suggested that it delivers "more" flavour than Prosecco, with a softer effervescence.

The retailer has also brought back its popular Specially Selected Sparkling Ribolla Gialla, priced at £6.99 per 75cl bottle.

Sam described the Ribolla Gialla as "sipping on sunshine", making it an ideal choice for the upcoming warmer months.

In other Aldi news, the supermarket has brought back popular chocolates and introduced new treats following sell-out success last year.

The supermarket promises to provide the "perfect chocolate trio" ahead of Easter.
