'Need them!' Aldi launches 'game-changing' Subway-inspired sauces available in a matter of days

Aldi has announced the launch of four brand new sauces inspired by fast food restaurant Subway.

Shoppers can snap up the "game-changing" sauces for £1.79 (500ml) per bottle.


Aldi said: "The sauces will be available in four tasty flavours - Marinara, Chipotle Mayonnaise, Teriyaki Glaze and Sweet Onion."

Sarnie fans can recreate their favourite "iconic" sub rolls from the comfort of their own homes. The supermarket said: "The Bramwells sauces will offer the perfect pairing to shopper favourite, Village Bakery Metro Rolls (£1.39, 4 pack)."

Customers won't have long to wait until they can get their hands on the new sauces. They will be available at Aldi stores from Sunday, June 30.

Britons are excited to try the new concoctions, with many flocking to social media to praise Aldi's latest launch.

A happy customer said: "Well done Aldi! Hope they taste as good too." Another added: "Subway fakeaway pending." A third was absolutely delighted: "Speechless - need them."

In other supermarket news, Asda launched a £1 "summer" sauce set to transport Britons to the beach. However, it is set to "divide the nation".

Aldi is constantly launching new products, the latest being the "ultimate Japanese-inspired lunch dish".

The supermarket has introduced an "irresistible" and "tantalising" £4 meal, available now.

Every Thursday and Sunday, Aldi launches its famous Specialbuys. These are the "unique and exciting products that you find at Aldi - from DIY, kitchenware, garden furniture to sports, camping and everything in between".

Specialbuys are exclusively available in stores at "unbelievable prices", however, customers are warned that "once they're gone, they're gone".

Plastics and packaging director at Aldi Luke Emery said: "At Aldi, we are continuously making changes when it comes to reducing plastic waste, and we know how important this is to our customers too.

"Increasing the recycled content in our crisp packaging is just one way we are helping our customers to reduce their environmental impact, with all these little changes adding up to make an even bigger difference."

In other food news, McDonald's rolls out never-before-seen desserts in 52 UK branches.

The sweet treats will be trialled until September 3 but could be rolled out in 2025 across the UK if the trial goes well.
