Aldi has launched the UK's first supermarket frozen ramen range, bringing warming winter meals to shoppers for just £1.99.

The budget supermarket's new offering brings authentic flavours to British freezers with three distinct varieties.


The frozen ramen meals are designed to provide a convenient and affordable dining option during the cold winter months.

Each bowl offers a complete meal featuring noodles, protein, and vegetables in flavourful broths, ready to be prepared in minutes.

The new range is now available in Aldi stores nationwide, marking the retailer's latest innovation in frozen convenience foods.

The range includes Coconut and Chilli Ramen which features chicken, noodles, yellow peppers, red onions and green beans in a coconut-based broth.

A Ginger Chicken Miso variety combines chicken with julienne carrots, red onions and edamame beans, seasoned with crushed chilli flakes.

The third option, Chilli Chicken Miso Ramen, aims to offer a sweet and spicy combination of chicken, noodles, yellow peppers and green beans.

Each variety comes in a 360g portion size, designed for individual servings.

All three flavours maintain the £1.99 price point, making them an accessible option for budget-conscious shoppers.

The new ramen range all contain less than 200 calories per serving and provides over 20g of protein.

The dishes do not take long to be served up with them aiming to be a convenient solution for busy weekday dining.

All varieties in the range are available now in Aldi stores across the UK.

It is not the only thing the supermarket has recently launched into the markets at the turn of the new year.

It recently extended its protein range for customers with prices starting from just 75p.

Customers have the choice of Vanilla Yoghurt with Milk Chocolate Cereal Balls and Strawberry Yoghurt with White Chocolate Cereal Balls, both high in protein offering 30g of protein per pot.
