The curries will be available to buy for less than two weeks

Aldi is bringing back its popular Bilash Curry Range following high customer demand, offering restaurant-quality Indian dishes at budget prices.

The range will return to stores from February 25, with Scottish stores following on February 27, for a limited nine-day period.

Shoppers will once again be able to enjoy a selection of authentic Indian mains and sides for a fraction of takeaway prices.

The range's previous launch during National Curry Week last October proved to be popular with Britons, with Aldi selling over one million products.

Customer enthusiasm was evident as the products flew off shelves, prompting the supermarket to bring back the popular range.

Budget-conscious shoppers can enjoy two main dishes and two sides for under £10, offering a complete Indian feast at home.

A combination of Chicken Biryani (£3.49), Lamb Rogan Josh (£3.49), Gunpowder Potatoes (£1.49) and Dal Makhani (£1.49) totals just £9.96.

Each main dish comes in a generous 400g portion, while sides are available in 300g servings.

The range has already garnered praise on social media, including recognition from food blogger UK Newest Foods and members of the Facebook group Overheard in Aldi.

"Aldi's new curry range is absolutely amazing and loads cheaper than a takeaway," commented one enthusiastic shopper.

Others expressed eagerness to try the range, with comments including "Need" and "Definitely keeping my eyes open for these next time I'm in Aldi." The range includes nine main dishes priced at £3.49 each, featuring options like Paneer Curry, Vegetable Kofta Curry, Goan Prawn Curry and Hot Butter Chicken.

Side dishes start from £1.05, with choices including Pilau, Mushroom and Peshwari Rice (£1.29), various naan breads, samosas and pakoras.

Traditional accompaniments such as onion bhajis, pickle tray and chilli poppadoms complete the extensive selection.

The Bilash Curry Range will be available until March 6 in England and Wales, and until March 8 in Scotland.
