Elton John has a lavish mansion in a quiet town
Elton John has owned properties across the world, including in Italy, France and the States.
He is the owner of a property in the historical town of Windsor, located just outside London.
The singer owns a mansion thought to be worth £4-5million, although it was purchased for much less.
Elton bought the property for £400,000 nearly 50 years ago, in 1975.
The property gives him plenty of privacy and it is hidden in Woodside on the edge of Windsor Great Park.
It sits on 27 acres and the singer has made lots of renovations with a mix of glitz and "traditional country home" features.
The estate holds a tennis court, library, private chapel and Renaissance inspired gardens.
Windsor is a traditional town that attracts plenty of tourists due to its history and royal links.
It is home to Windsor Castle where royals including Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Eugenie and Meghan Markle married their partners.
Windsor is the home of Windsor Great Park near where Elton lives.
The park has more than 1,600 reviews and a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on Tripadvisor.
One reviewer praised the area and said: "We only did a small part of the park because we were time-constrained. This is a great place to walk, run, or bike.
"The part we walked in was left in its natural and wild state and beautiful with the castle in the very distance."
Another added it was "fantastic" while one more complimented the "beautiful grounds and lovely walks".
