Elle started to eat more fruit and vegetables and cut back on coffee.
"I told [my friend] I was taking this green powder and it's changed my life," she said on Megyn Kelly Today.
There is some evidence that supplements and vitamins can have anti-ageing effects.
EGCG is found in green tea and can protect against a number of health issues.
It can also protect against "ageing skin", according to a study published in the National Library of Medicine.
Collagen is also a popular supplement as it helps the skin and hair.
It can protect against wrinkles and dry skin, and a study found women who took 2.5 grams of collagen a day for 12 weeks improved their skin hydration and elasticity.
After noticing the results of supplements, Elle has since started her own natural supplement and wellness business named WellCo.
