Liz follows one rule which she turned into a motto that she lives by. She said: "I came up with this motto in the past year. Eat simple, move daily and be consistent.
"It may be boring, but boring has allowed me to lose more than three and a half stone."
The weight loss enthusiast said she started by moving about and slowly building up to more intense exercises.
She said: "My body allows me to do more things than in the past. I can run two to three miles without getting tired; before, you could not even get me to start running. It was transformational as to who I am.
"Get out and move your body. Try to do 10,000 steps a day and allow your body to start enjoying movement.
"When you start providing that consistency, that is the sweet spot of weight loss, and is when you start seeing you are evolving as a person."
With her food, Liz focused on eating a healthy amount of starchy foods and lots of vegetables.
She said: "Spend 30 minutes to an hour meal prepping and you are going to have all your starches and vegetables prepared all week long."
