Losing weight is a combination of exercise and diet, with some foods better than others for achieving fast and effective results.
Foods high in protein have been shown to help with weight loss and snacking on these could give great results.
Warrior's leading nutritionist Jess Hillard explained there are many benefits to snacking, such as maintaining blood sugar levels and stopping energy crashes. It can also help with weight loss.
She explained: "Snacking can aid in weight management and portion control. Overeating is a common occurrence and often people overlook this when wanting to lose weight. Having a snack between meals can help with overeating at mealtimes."

In particular, the diet expert suggested snacks high in protein are often the best choice. Studies have shown protein is great for helping people to feel fuller while eating less.
Jess said: "Protein plays a key role in curbing cravings and avoiding binges, especially during training. Foods high in protein help to promote satiety and reduce hunger, preventing overeating and cravings for ultra-processed snacks.
"When training, the body requires additional protein to support muscle repair and recovery."
Protein is naturally found in foods like meat, fish, eggs, dairy, tofu and nuts. It is also possible to buy supplements such as protein powders and bars.
These foods also help people to build and maintain muscle mass. Those who have more muscle mass will burn more calories as muscle is a metabolically active tissue, unlike fat tissue.
If opting for protein before working out, the expert suggested pairing it with a carbohydrate for a boost of energy.
Jess added: "Including protein in meals and snacks helps to stabilise blood sugar levels, which can fluctuate during intense exercise sessions. A steadier blood sugar level allows for more consistent energy levels through exercise.
"Protein takes longer to digest compared to carbohydrates. This keeps you feeling full for longer periods however because it takes longer it won’t give you an instant energy hit which is why a carbohydrate source needs to be incorporated with it.
"Prolonging satiety during training can help to avoid impulsive eating or overindulgence in calorie-dense foods post-workout."
