Weight gain in Britain has become a major source of concern for medical institutions due to the popularity of sugar-laden diets.
Fortunately, a few simple steps can pave the way to a slimmer waistline, with one content creator claiming to know a simple concoction that may speed up results overnight.
In a YouTube clip, health and wellness enthusiast Sandy Steinbrook said her antioxidant drink works wonders for weight loss, having just lost 18lb.
“Not getting a good night’s sleep is associated with being overweight,” Sandy told her viewers.

“With this concoction you’re going to be getting the toxins out of your body, revving up your metabolism and you’re going to get a really good night’s sleep.
“You need one teabag - you want to let that steep in the water for at least ten to 15 minutes.”
The content creator adds one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to the mix, explaining that this “helps burn fat, boosts metabolism, helps suppress appetite, it’ll lower your blood sugar levels".
She added: “The reason you need it with the mother is because it has raw enzymes and it promotes good bacteria in the gut.
“This has been shown over and over to be a fat-burning machine in the body.”
Apple cider vinegar was shown to help the body burn more calories and fat in one study published in BMJ Nutrition, Prevention and Health.
Next, Sandy adds a teaspoon of cinnamon to the concoction, as the spice is famous for its antioxidants. The juice of one lemon is also included in the mix.
Medicinenet notes that like most of the ingredients mentioned above, cinnamon alone can not enable weight loss.
“When taken along with a balanced diet and regular exercise, cinnamon may help speed up your weight loss journey,” claimed the health body.
Naheed Ali, MD, PhD, physician and nutritionist writing on behalf of Sweat Block, recently told GB News that coffee and water are also potent aids in weight loss.
Harnessing hydration may be one of the easiest - and most overlooked - ways to tackle weight around the body’s midsection.
