Diet and exercise both need to be considered when it comes to hitting your weight loss goals.

Fitness experts at PTPioneer.com looked at some of the most searched weight loss queries and shared their advice, including tips on how to lose weight quickly.


One of the most asked questions is 'how to lose weight fast', with the experts finding it has 4,300 monthly searches.

They shared some of the top ways to slim down fast including the best types of food to eat and the importance of regular exercise.

The experts stated: "To lose weight effectively, three key steps can be highlighted.

"Eat meals with a good balance of protein, fat, and vegetables and include fibre in your diet, as fibre-rich foods can help you feel satisfied and manage your weight.

"[Also] include physical activity in your routine, like cardio exercises and weight training."

The experts recommended eating a balanced diet full of nutrients such as protein and fibre, as well as eating plenty of vegetables.

Studies have shown a high protein diet can aid weight loss as it helps slimmers to feel full, making them less likely to overeat or opt for unhealthy snacks.

Foods that are high in protein include meat, fish, tofu, dairy, eggs, nuts, beans and protein powders. The experts shared advice on how much protein everyone should eat when trying to maintain a healthy weight.

They said: "According to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2020–2025, adult males should get at least 56 grams of protein, and adult females should get at least 46 grams daily.

"When it comes to losing weight, increasing protein intake can be helpful. Aside from the general recommendation, those looking to lose weight might benefit from more.

"A good target could be having about 1.2 to two grams of protein for every kilogram of body weight daily.

"It's best to spread this protein intake throughout the day and include a variety of sources such as lean meats, dairy, and plant-based proteins.

"This approach helps maintain and grow muscles, especially when combined with regular exercise."

This comes as experts shared some of the best ingredients to eat to fuel fat loss. They shared that a balanced evening meal should include lean protein, healthy fats and high-fibre carbohydrates.
