The carnivore diet has been recommended to people as a great diet for weight loss, although it is worth doing your research before beginning a new plan

When approaching a weight loss journey, it is imperative that your diet choices are smart to make progress effectively and efficiently.

Caitlyn, from the YouTube channel, Carnivore Couple adopted the carnivore diet as a source for weight loss and noticed considerable difference whilst still enjoying tasty dishes.

The carnivore diet meal plan intends to only allow slimmers to eat meat, poultry, eggs, seafood, fish, some dairy products, and water.

Weight loss enthusiasts have to cut out all vegetables, fruit, legumes, seeds and nuts. The diet is sometimes referred to as the no carbohydrate diet.

One of the meals Caitlyn likes to enjoy as part of her diet is a sausage breakfast burrito in a bowl.

To cook this meal you will need one sausage, one slice of ham and two to three eggs.

In a frying pan, firstly add the sausage and cook for the appropriate time then add some ham broken up onto the pan.

Caitlyn said: "Then add about two to three eggs and scramble those with some salt and pepper."

She said you can add some cheese to the mix and get ready to serve.

Caitlyn explained that the breakfast is a perfect, quick and easy meal for people to try and is an ideal start to the day.

The YouTuber encouraged people to make little but often changes to their diet so they are more likely to stick with the swaps of food.

She said: "When you're starting a health journey, it can be a little overwhelming to feel like you have to fix everything all at once but just find a few little things that you can tweak.

"For example, I'm trying to reduce the amount of store-bought cream that I have. I'm still having a little bit of the sugar-free syrup with cream but that's just a small little tweak that's just a little bit better."

The content creator told people to give themselves time when trying to lose weight, emphasising that it is not a sprint but a marathon.

"I hope you feel encouraged to make those little adjustments within your own lifestyle."
