Slimmers need to build muscle and burn fat to tone their arms, and some at-home exercises can help you do this.
A fitness expert shares five moves that work the muscles in your arms and help you banish your bingo wings.
Fitness expert at Mirafit Mark Harris said: "Arm fat, often dubbed ‘bingo wings’, can leave people feeling incredibly unhappy with their appearance.
"However, with the combination of strength training, cardio and a balanced diet, toning arms can be made much easier. Let’s take a look at my top tips for arm-toning, with Christmas on the horizon."
Hammer curls are a great way to strengthen the arms
GETTYHe outlines the top exercises for toned arms which include moves that don't require any weights, or ones that can be easily done at home with dumbbells or resistance band.
Front punches
Mark said: “To complete a front punch, wrap the resistance band around the back and punch forward." Ditch the resistance band for a beginner-friendly option.
This works your arms while getting your heart rate up, which will encourage the body to burn more fat.
Overhead tricep extension
The expert explained: “Try an overhead tricep extension, which consists of holding a resistance band behind the head with elbows facing the ceiling before extending the arms up and back down."
Expert recommends: 15 to 20 reps
Overhead shoulder press
Mark added: “An overhead shoulder press requires a dumbbell. Using these hand weights, hold them in line with your shoulder height and push them until the arm is extended fully."
Expert recommends: 15 reps
