Keeping active and incorporating exercise into your daily life can work wonders for those on a weight loss journey.
A registered dietician spoke exclusively to GB News about which exercises are great for fat loss, suggesting that slimmers introduce high-intensity interval training (HIIT).
HIIT is defined by David Lloyd Clubs as "a training technique in which you give 100 per cent effort in quick, intense bursts of exercise".
"This is followed by short recovery periods of low-intensity work or no activity at all."

Registered dietician Rimas Geiga said: "Identifying the 'best' exercise for weight loss requires balancing effectiveness with personal preference and sustainability.
"High-intensity interval training (HIIT) stands out for its efficiency in burning calories in a short period, and the metabolic boost that continues post-exercise."
The expert said: "By interspersing short bursts of intense activity with periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise, HIIT challenges the body in a way that can lead to significant fat loss and improvements in cardiovascular health.
But while the expert recommends HIIT, the best kind of exercise regime is actually just one that you will stick to over time.
Rimas said: "The effectiveness of an exercise regimen is profoundly influenced by one's willingness and ability to adhere to it over time.
"Therefore, diversifying exercise types to include activities one enjoys, be it cycling, swimming, dancing, or team sports, is crucial for long-term success.
"The goal is to integrate physical activity as a consistent and enjoyable part of one's lifestyle."
Strength training is also effective for weight loss, with the dietician explaining that it's "essential for building muscle mass, which in turn increases the number of calories burned at rest".
Rimas concluded: "A combination of aerobic exercises, strength training, and flexibility practices (such as yoga or Pilates) can provide a comprehensive workout routine that not only aids in weight loss but also promotes overall health and well-being."
