Slimmers should stock up on broccoli, basil seeds and grass-fed beef
A healthy diet is essential for weight loss results and there are specific foods that work wonders when it comes to slimming down.
A dietician took to TikTok to share the three foods she recommends for weight loss. Slimmers have been advised to consume broccoli, basil seeds and grass-fed beef "weekly if not daily".
Courtney, also known as @dieticianwithtwins, advised slimmers to stock up on broccoli, basil seeds and grass-fed beef.
According to the expert, broccoli has an excellent impact on the body and its natural detox processes.

She added that broccoli has "potent anti-inflammatory effects and keeps your metabolism optimised to "keep fat storage hormones at bay".
Broccoli is also fibrous, meaning it has a satiating effect on the body. What's more, it keeps "cravings" away.
The expert continued: "Speaking of a tonne of fibre, two tablespoons of basil seeds have 15g of fibre which is pretty much unheard of."
Basil seeds can be incorporated into plenty of drinks and meals. Blend them into a smoothie or milkshake, or add to soups, salad dressings, oatmeal, pancakes and bread.
The NHS advised: "Government guidelines say our dietary fibre intake should increase to 30g a day, as part of a healthy balanced diet."
The expert added that basil seeds are rich in magnesium, which helps to balance blood sugar and "keep the metabolism running smoothly".
Asked if there's a difference between basil seeds and chia seeds, the expert revealed she eats them the same way.
A fitness expert explained why chia seeds are the best ingredient to add to your meals if you want to slim down.
Finally, the dietician advised slimmers to opt for grass-fed beef. She explained that this meat is leaner and includes CLA, which is a type of healthy fat.
She said: "When the body uses food for energy, this is how CLA puts a stop to fat storage."

The American Criollo Beef Association said: "Grass-fed beef is up to two-thirds lower in fat and calories than feedlot-raised beef.
