Hearty, high-protein smoothies helped the slimmer see results
Many say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and when it comes to weight loss, the right morning meal can truly work wonders.
A fitness and lifestyle content creator took to TikTok to share the six nutritious breakfasts she ate for a 4st 4lb weight loss. She still enjoys them to this day to maintain her current weight.
Tiffany Henriques (@tiffanyhenriquesfit on TikTok) provided her "healthy breakfast ideas to fuel your day". On her weight loss journey, she enjoyed smoothie bowls, chia seed pudding, protein balls, oatmeal, protein smoothies and eggs on toast.
A smoothie is a thick blended drink, typically pureed in a blender containing fruits and/or vegetables as well as a liquid such as fruit juice, vegetable juice, milk or yoghurt. For a smoothie bowl, spoon out the finished product and add toppings such as fruits, nuts and seeds.
One of the main ways Tiffany lost weight was by drinking homemade smoothies

Slimmers may want to incorporate the number one weight-loss fruit into their smoothie bowl. According to a doctor, it specifically torches tummy fat.
Similarly, the slimmer drank high-protein smoothies to combat fat. She said: "This literally was one of the main ways I was able to lose weight. I love making these at home and there are so many different options."
To make a smoothie more filling, add more protein, for example, nut butter, leafy greens and cottage cheese. Fibrous, high-protein oats will also help bulk up a smoothie. Additionally, swap out your regular yoghurt for protein-packed plain Greek yoghurt.
Tiffany also enjoyed chia seed puddings: "They actually taste so good and chia seeds are great for you."
An expert explained why chia seeds are the best ingredient to add to your meals if you want to slim down.
Some of their benefits include a high amount of healthy fats, fibre and protein.
However, it's important to note that chia seeds are not calorie-free. According to the experts at Nutritionix, a tablespoon of chia seeds contains approximately 58 calories.
The fitness enthusiast also made homemade protein balls during her weight loss journey.
Consuming more protein is beneficial for slimmers in that it stabilises blood sugars, boosts metabolism, promotes muscle growth and keeps the body feeling satiated throughout the day.
Common ingredients in protein balls include porridge oats, protein powder, ground flaxseeds, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, nut butter and plant-based milk. Different ingredients can be added depending on each slimmer's taste.

GETTY IMAGESTiffany also started her mornings with oatmeal - preferably a high-protein variety - as oatmeal is very fibrous.
Harvard Medical School said: "A study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine suggests that something as simple as aiming to eat 30 grams of fibre each day can help you lose weight, lower your blood pressure and improve your body's response to insulin just as effectively as a more complicated diet."
Finally, the slimmer liked to start the day with eggs on toast paired with avocado. Boiled or poached eggs are more weight-loss-friendly than their fried counterparts. Swap out white bread for whole grains, as this is packed with fibre, vitamins and minerals.
