A disciplined approach to eating and drinking can make significant difference over time

The internet is awash with inspiring stories from slimmers who have transformed their physique through simple lifestyle changes.

Among them is 28-year-old Liv Dunn, from the UK, who shed an impressive nine stone using entirely natural methods.

In a recent clip, the social media user broke down her weight loss success into key habits that she adopted daily.

Her comprehensive approach focused on sustainable changes that can be maintained long-term, she explained.

Among Liv's key recommendations is calorie checking, which she did through the Nutracheck app.

"Enter your details and it'll calculate your own personal calorie deficit figure based on your gender, height and activity levels," she explained.

The slimmer also emphasised the importance of a gradual approach to exercise.

"If you go from nothing to then attempting a 10k run, you'll have a shit time and will be put off exercise," she warned viewers.

She advised starting with manageable, enjoyable activities and building upon them gradually. When it comes to eating habits, Dunn's approach centered around two "non-negotiable" rules.

Firstly, she insisted on drinking two litres of water daily, as hydration can help quell hunger queues.

Additionally, she maintained a strict rule of consuming five portions of fruit and vegetables each day.

"Don't miss out on family occasions or meals out with your girlfriends," she advises.

She encourages followers to maintain perspective when it comes to occasional treats.

"One meal off plan will not ruin your progress," she noted. The key, according to Dunn, is to "enjoy and bounce back" rather than letting a single cheat meal derail overall progress.
