Experts are calling on drivers to make major savings on their petrol and diesel fuel costs with "lesser-known changes they can make in seconds".
Petrol and diesel prices are constantly fluctuating with drivers continually being ripped off at the pumps by greedy major retailers and supermarkets.
The latest data from RAC Fuel Watch shows that unleaded petrol costs 145.80 per litre, while the price of diesel has jumped in recent weeks to £1.51.
Experts and drivers have consistently spoken of the need for PumpWatch to bring costs down. This would hold retailers accountable for their costs by publishing up-to-date information about prices.

The scheme is already used in Northern Ireland with the Consumer Council Fuel Price Checker, which shows drivers save around 10p per litre compared to those in England, Scotland and Wales.
Data from the tool reveals that drivers in Omagh are paying an average of 136.4p per litre for petrol and 139.8p for diesel, making the town have the lowest average prices across Northern Ireland.
In the meantime, one motoring expert has told drivers to make simple changes to their habits to ensure they can save on their expensive fuel costs.
Gordon Wallis, from InterFuels, suggested that drivers could "further boost savings" by investing in a fuel card, which can allow them to pay less.
He added: "Some fuel cards offer savings on the cost of petrol and diesel, often resulting in paying less than the price displayed at the pump.
“Drivers can typically save around two to three pence per litre on the national average pump price.
"When multiplied across a fleet of company cars and vans or an HGV haulier, this can amount to significant savings each year."
Drivers will save varying amounts of money on their fuel depending on which card they choose, with Wallis stressing the importance of deciding on which card they think best suits their needs.
He also highlighted how fuel economy can be aided by simple measures like maintaining proper tyre pressure and reducing any unnecessary weight in the vehicle.
Wallis said drivers would be able to "reduce fuel consumption by a noticeable margin" by keeping the car's load light and ensuring tyres are in good condition.
He added: "Efficient driving techniques can make a significant impact on fuel savings.
"Gradually accelerating, avoiding harsh braking, and maintaining a steady speed in the highest possible gear can improve fuel efficiency."
