Drivers have been warned to expect delays this weekend as the last set of M25 roadworks gets underway with traffic expected to be affected
From Saturday, November 2, until Sunday, November 3, a series of slip road closures on the M25 will take place to allow the last remaining National Highways works to be completed.
The road closures mean drivers will not be able to join or leave the M25 or A3 at Junction 10 and will need to take alternative routes to complete their journeys.
The closures are to allow further work to restore the heathland and upgrade the junction with the A3 Wisley Interchange to take place.

Junction 10 and 11 of the M25 will be closed on the weekend
PANational Highways warned that drivers will be required to use either Junction 9 Leatherhead or Junction 11 Chertsey instead.
While the junctions along the busy roads will be shut, the A3 and M25 itself will both remain open for traffic. The slip roads at the junction will close at 9pm on Saturday before reopening at 10am on Sunday.
The closures will allow the agency to make changes to Junction 10 itself and gradually bring into use jet lanes which avoid the traffic signals.
Jonathan Wade, Senior Project Manager for National Highways, said: "It is important that the public know this is not a closure of the M25 as we have seen on three occasions earlier this year.
"Work continues onthe Junction 10 project and these three weekends will allow us to carry out the next phase of the scheme. I would urge drivers to think about how these slip road closures will affect their journeys and make sure they follow the official diversion routes we have provided."
Originally, the slip road closures were supposed to take place from Friday, November, until Monday, November 4, but are now not necessary.
The closures will still need to take place on the M25 between Junctions 10 and 11 overnight on Saturday to complete significant bridge work.
This is a longer overnight closure than usual with National Highways warning drivers to factor the closures into the weekend journeys. The closure will allow workers to install the new Clearmount footbridge over the M25, the longest bridge in the project.
Junction 10 is the busiest section of the M25 with over 300,000 vehicles passing through every day with upgrades costing £317million.
Improvements to the area will see the installation of new and safer routes for cyclists, pedestrians and horse riders while also creating reduced congestion.
An additional lane on the A3 in both directions from Ockham and Painshill junctions towards the M25 as well as a larger roundabout with extra lanes to increase capacity.
Junctions 9 and 11 carry between 4,000 and 6,000 vehicles per hour in each direction between 10am and 9pm on a weekend. Further traffic could be seen as a result of the October half term holidays, with Gatwick and Heathrow airports issuing warnings.
