Drivers could get their hands on a slick all-electric Jaguar I-Pace electric car, previously owned by King Charles III, when it goes under the hammer in March.
The Jaguar I-Pace was purchased by His Majesty King Charles for his own personal use and was the first electric vehicle owned by the Royal Family.
The then-Prince of Wales purchased the electric vehicle in 2018 and was supplied directly by Jaguar Land Rover, with the Royal being pictured in the vehicle at various appearances around the UK.
King Charles purchased the I-Pace EV400 HSE all-wheel-drive for around £60,000 and took delivery of the electric car in September 2018.

This was followed by the installation of a fast charger at his official London residence, Clarence House, with the monarch also introducing green measures like solar panels at other royal households.
At his personal request, the high-performance EV was finished in “Loire Blue” and remains the only I-Pace to be painted in the colour.
Mathew Priddy, Historics’ Head of Auctions, emphasised the car’s enduring collector value, and gushed over the anticipated sale on March 2.
He said: “We are thrilled to bring this royal icon to auction. It's an unrepeatable piece of electric motoring history.
Estimates suggest it could sell for between £55,000 and £70,000

“With the Jaguar I-Pace being discontinued ahead of Jaguar’s re-launch in 2025, this will remain surely the most significant example, which will be reflected in its increasing value.”
King Charles returned the Jaguar to the manufacturer in December 2020 with around 3,000 miles on the clock and was offered for sale through its appointed dealer, Jaguar North Oxford.
Karen French, of Bampton, Oxfordshire, is the current owner of the car and said it was a serendipity moment when she purchased the EV.
She added: “This I-Pace was exactly what I was looking for and pretty much on my doorstep.

“It was only when I agreed to buy it that I discovered its extraordinary history - I was absolutely thrilled.
“Having driven it over 30,000 miles. I decided in the New Year that it was time for a change.”
The electric Jaguar is fitted with a stunning leather interior in Light Oyster Windsor and is expected to fetch between £55,000 and £70,000.
All eyes will be on the Ascot Racecourse on Saturday, March 2, as Historics Auctioneers put the electric vehicle up for sale at around 9.30am.
