The vehicle can be upgraded to include electro-shock door handles and pepper spray dispensers
A new armoured version of the Lucid Air Sapphire has been unveiled, claiming the title of the world's fastest bulletproof vehicle, helping drivers repel grenades and poison gas.
US Armor Group, an advanced defence technology company, has transformed the electric sedan into what has been described as an "indestructible machine".
The modified Lucid Air Sapphire boasts an array of high-tech security features, while maintaining speeds of over 200mph for heads of state, high-profile executives, and individuals requiring top-tier protection.
The armoured electric vehicle features upgraded lightweight laminated transparent armour capable of stopping a .44 magnum round.

Its doors and body panels are fortified with a composite material said to be ten times stronger and five times lighter than ballistic steel, according to US Armor Group.
These upgrades add just 174 kilograms to the vehicle's total weight, with other additional options including electro-shock door handles, pepper spray dispensers, and poison gas detection systems.
US Armor Group CEO Jeffrey Engen stated: "Our mission has always been to protect our clients against any and all potential threats, however, we did not want to sacrifice in terms of performance or amenities."
The interior boasts an "impenetrable" WiFi package to safeguard against hacking attempts, as well as a scanner system connected to local police and fire departments.
The armoured Lucid Air Sapphire comes with a hefty price tag of £475,000 (£362,082), nearly double the cost of the standard model at $250,000 (£190,569).
The trend of armouring EVs seems to be gaining traction, with other notable examples like the Tesla Cybertruck attracting attention for its bulletproof capabilities.
These kinds of vehicle upgrades are particularly appealing to high-profile individuals and government officials seeking both luxury and protection in their transport.
The armoured Lucid Air Sapphire retains its impressive performance specs despite the added protection. The standard model boasts 1,234 horsepower and can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 1.89 seconds.
US Armor Group claims their modified version can still hit 200mph, likely approaching the factory 0-60 time and 400 miles of electric range.
Engen continued, saying: "With the armoured Air Sapphire, our company has taken one of the world’s fastest production vehicles ever built and transformed it into the fastest armoured car on the planet.
"While the original vehicle was already exceptional, we’ve further enhanced it for clients looking for modern-day security solutions.
"Armouring is important, but for our clients, digital security is also an integral part of their modern-day needs as c-suite executives and business owners."

US Armor Group offers three categories of vehicle protection. Category 1 contains advanced ballistic resistance for everyday security with anti-intrusion protection.
Category 2 is for "ultimate protection for extreme threat environments" for people who face serious threats like kidnappings or car bombings, likely in combat zones.
The final category mixes executive protection, comfort and safety for "discerning clients who require both top-tier security and unparalleled luxury in their armoured vehicles".
