Motorists are being warned after hundreds of thousands of cars were affected by vehicle recalls amid fears the defects could have a huge impact on safety.
Millions of vehicles have already been recalled this year, with major brands like Tesla, Ford, BMW, Volkswagen and more issuing notices about safety concerns.
Four further manufacturers have now issued recall notices to warn drivers of the need to update vehicles or take them to garages to have the problems fixed.

The Kia Telluride is involved in the recall

More than 463,000 Kia vehicle owners in the United States are being advised to park outside and away from structures amid fears of fire.
The South Korean carmaker said it was recalling Telluride SUV models between 2020 and 2024 over fire risks stemming from overheating front power seat motors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said the guidance for motorists to park in alternative areas was in place until the recall repair was complete.
This will see Kia dealers install a bracket from the power seat switch back covers and replace the seat slide knobs to remedy the issue, according to Reuters.

The Michigan-based manufacturer recently announced the recall of more than 211,000 vehicles over fears that issues with electronic stability control systems could lead to accidents.
The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) control module could disable stability controls, with the NHTSA reporting that the recall would affect vehicles in the United States.
As part of the recall, motorists with certain 2022 Dodge Durango and Ram 2500 and 3500 vehicles could be sent a recall notice.
Toyota Tundra pick-up truck

Owners of Toyota Tundra pick-up trucks and Lexus LX600 SUVs are at risk of a new recall with more than 100,000 vehicles thought to be impacted.
The NHTSA said there were fears that there could potentially be debris in the engine, heightening the chance of the vehicle stalling and the loss of power steering.
The debris, believed to be from the manufacturing process, will be addressed by Toyota in a remedy which is still currently under development.

The Volvo EX30 electric SUV

The Swedish manufacturer said it was forced to recall almost 72,000 of its EX30 electric SUVs, prompting shares to drop 3.5 per cent in early trading.
Bloomberg reported that some vehicles may have an error in the centre screen that could lead the speedometer to go into test mode when the car starts.
Volvo confirmed that the glitch would be fixed with an over-the-air software update.
