The Welsh Government has announced a major £110million investment for local authorities to improve transport across Wales.
The funding aims to help people get around more easily and make better transport accessible for everyone and includes changes to roads, rail and buses.
This significant investment will support a wide range of projects throughout the country. The grants will fund improvements to the condition of local roads and address disruptions caused by severe weather.
Money will also be allocated to pilot new bus services and upgrade existing bus infrastructure, including journey times and waiting facilities.

GETTYThe investment includes creating inclusive streets that make it easier for people to walk, wheel and cycle. Additional funding will go towards installing more publicly available electric vehicle charging points across Wales.
The package also includes provisions for creating safer routes for children travelling to schools. Road safety improvements are another key area that will benefit from this substantial government investment.
Projects set to benefit include the continuation of vital bus pilot schemes in Denbighshire and Gwynedd, including the T8 service and Sherpa'r Wyddfa.
These services will provide rural communities with better access to employment, services and facilities. A further £1.6million has been allocated for drainage and resurfacing work on the A483 Fabian Way in Neath Port Talbot. This hopes to resolve frequent flooding issues on this key access road.
Safety improvements around Llanidloes schools in Powys will make it easier for children to walk, wheel or cycle to school.
The funding will also support an expansion of the walking and cycling network in east Caerphilly and aims to provide safer access to the town centre and railway station for local residents.
These projects demonstrate the Welsh Government's commitment to improving transport infrastructure across both urban and rural areas.
The investments aim to address specific local needs while contributing to broader goals of accessibility and sustainability.
Meanwhile, £6million has been made available for the Milford Haven Interchange as part of the Welsh Government's transport investment.
This funding will allow building work to begin on improving the existing Milford train station. The project will create a new interchange for buses and taxis at the location.Better public realm spaces will also be developed as part of the scheme.
The interchange improvements will include enhanced active travel links for the local community. This investment represents a significant upgrade to transport infrastructure in Pembrokeshire. The Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales, Ken Skates, highlighted the importance of this investment.
He said: "We want to make it easier for people to travel to work, school, healthcare and to see friends and family, while also building a more sustainable transport network for future generations."
