Drivers have been warned of delays after a major diesel spill involving two lorries has caused closures in Dorset on busy A roads.
The A35 in Dorset is closed in both directions between the A37 (Poundbury) and A3066 (Bridport) due to the incident, with drivers warned to expect disruptions while the road undergoes an emergency resurfacing.
The incident was reported in the early hours of the morning when two lorries collided causing diesel to spill onto the road.
For drivers travelling westbound, they are advised to follow the Hollow Diamond diversion symbol on road signs.

Drivers should expect delays as road gets repaired
PA
National Highways detailed how westbound drivers should exit the A35 onto the A37 at Poundbury, take the A37 towards Wrackford/Stratton/Grimstone then join the A356.
From there, they should stay on the A356 until they reach the A3066 near Misterton, take the A3066 south and continue to the East Road roundabout.
Drivers should take the second exit on the East Road roundabout and re-join the A35.
Road users travelling eastbound, however are advised to follow the non-symbol led diversion route.
This route requires drivers at the East Road Roundabout to take the second exit on to the A3066, continue on the A3066 northbound to Misterton and the junction with the A356.
From here, drivers should turn right on to the A356 and continue on the A356 through Grimstone/Stratton/Wrackford.
At Frampton turn right on to the A37 and follow the A37 towards Dorchester and re-join the A35 at Monkey's Jump Roundabout.
National Highways has not revealed how long the delay is expected to last for, but drivers are advised to keep checking the website.
National Highways added: “If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time.
“Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.
