Carol Vorderman has given a glimpse into her intensive fitness regime
Carol Vorderman, 62, has often been an advocate for fitness, releasing books and DVDs and often posting her workouts on Instagram.
The broadcaster has shared a new video where she takes part in a mix of full body moves using gym machines and weights.
To work her lower body, Carol demonstrated weighted hip thrusters and weighted walking lunges.
Lunges are a great all round lower body move that works the quadriceps, glutes and hamstrings.

Adding weights and walking while doing the movement will increase the intensity.
Carol was also seen doing pull downs for her upper body and ab exercises during her workout shared yesterday.
This is not the first time the TV star has inspired others with her fitness.
In fact, she will regularly post pictures and videos on Instagram from the gym.
A recent post had a string of videos and pictures where Carol demonstrated walkouts, shoulder taps and half pull ups.
She explained she was working to improve some upper body moves.
The caption read: "Friday gym.....getting stronger.
"Always been too weak for full press ups and pull ups so starting training for those now. And the splits....need a new party trick."
