Nestlé UK has confirmed it will no longer make Caramac bars.
The popular treat launched more than 60 years ago and fans are not happy.
The decision was made as sales of the sweet treat have slowed.
The creamy caramel based bar does not contain cocoa, but it is often thought of as a staple on confectionary shelves.
Customers are already calling for its return

It is made from condensed milk and treacle, giving it a sweet flavour.
Fans of the treat headed to social media platform X to share their disappointment.
One wrote: "Why oh why @NestleUKI how can you do this?"
A second added: "Gutted!! I've always loved Caramac. and No before you say it ... Milky Bar Gold is not the same!!!" [SIC]
"I’ve just heard that they’re discontinuing #Caramac. Hashtag #Disappointed," a third added.
One more said: "@Nestle are you really scrapping Caramac???? I seriously hope not! It’s the only chocolate thing I truly love! This is a shambles!" [SIC]
Other social media users called for the brand to reverse its decision.
One said: "Please reconsider, so many people love Caramac! Bring them back!"

A Nestlé statement said: "We know fans will be disappointed to see it go, but this change will enable us to focus on our best-performing brands, as well as develop exciting new innovations to delight consumers' taste buds."
Nestlé said it will focus on the products that are doing better.
This comes as a Cadbury product makes first ever appearance on UK shelves.
