Asda has opened 11 Express stores across the country
Asda has turned 11 more locations in convenience stores, meaning more people have access to the supermarket chain.
This comes after it acquired stores from the Co-op.
The retailer took on 132 Co-op sites last year and has begun plans to turn 116 of the locations into Asda Express stores.
The convenience stores will have around 3,000 branded and own-label food products and essentials.
It already had three standalone Express stores

"We look forward to bringing Asda’s great value in fuel and groceries to many more communities across the UK and to welcoming over 2,000 former Co-op colleagues to the Asda family in the coming months."
The remaining 105 stores planned to open will be converted by the end of Q1 next year.
Products sold in stores will be 8.9 per cent cheaper than the Co-op on average, according to the retailer.
