Asda urgently recalls chicken over a potentially deadly ingredient

Asda has recalled chicken as it includes ingredients not listed on the label. This could be potentially deadly for anyone with a severe allergy
Asda has shared a warning for a chicken product as it had undeclared ingredients.
Anyone who has bought the product and has an allergy to wheat or gluten should not eat it.
Asda Classic Boneless Chicken Dinner Joint

The product was on sale for £4.40 and has the barcode 505717286406.
An Asda statement said: "If you have purchased Asda Classic Boneless Chicken Dinner Joint, UB 01 OCT, please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund.
"We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and will ensure this doesn't happen again.
"If you would like further information please contact: Asda Customer Relations - 0800 952 0101."
Shoppers can return the item to any Asda store without a receipt.
The Food Standards Agency added a warning and highlighted the potential seriousness of the risk.
It said: "This product contains wheat (gluten) making it a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.
"If you have bought the above product and have coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, do not eat it."
Food recalls are only issued when a fault is found with a food item.
