Aldi shares message for Britons shopping in 1,000 UK stores this Christmas

From December 18, the Aldi Christmas Super Six deals will return to stores.

Shoppers will be able to pick up Christmas dinner staples from 15p.

This includes White Potatoes (15p, 2kg), Carrots (19p, 1kg), Parsnips (19p, 500g), Red and White Cabbages (19p each), Brussels Sprouts (19p, 500g), and Swede (19p each).

This will run until Christmas Eve giving shoppers plenty of time to prepare for the big day.

This comes as the retailer cut the price of mince pies by 50 per cent.

Holly Lane Deep Filled Mince Pies have dropped from £1.09 to 55p from this week, working out at 9p each.

The retailer has announced a Christmas Price Lock where shoppers are guaranteed deals on turkey and Christmas pudding.

Communications director at Aldi UK Richard Thornton said: “At Aldi we believe that everyone should get to enjoy an amazing Christmas, which is why we’re introducing the Aldi Christmas Price Lock.

"Our research shows cost is a major factor when it comes to choosing food options and by locking the prices of key staples at the level they were in 2022, it will help our customers up and down the country enjoy the Christmas dinner they deserve with the ones they love.”

This comes as the discount shopper chain shared its festive opening times.

Aldi will extend opening hours between December 18th and 23rd.

Stores will stay open from 7am to 10pm so customers can pick up all their festive essentials. Aldi branches will close early at 4pm on Christmas Eve.

It will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Stores will open from 8am to 8pm between December 27 and 30. Shoppers should check their local stores for further details.
