'I need that!' Aldi shoppers desperate to get their hands on Christmas Toy Rat - but they must act fast

Aldi shoppers have been trying to purchase the Gingerbread Rat which is part of Aldi's Specialbuys section.
The demand for the rat has come from the social media platform, TikTok, with users posting videos of them finding the rat. One video has now amassed over three million views.
The rat is part of the Extendable Plush Christmas Figures collection, which has four characters.
These are: The Gingerbread Rat, Green Sequin Gonk, Red Candy Sequin Gonk and the Turkey.

Aldi said: "At such a fun time of year it's great to have a few fun characters around the house and they don't come much more festive than one of these adorable plushes."
Commenters on social media have been reacting to the Gingerbread Rat who are all very keen to buy it.
One user wrote: "I just know my mum would love to have one, I will be running to Aldi."
Another added: "I couldn't find him today but I will continue my search tomorrow."
The Gingerbread Rat returned this year, following the success of last year in the store.
The rat, which is known as Candy, is available for £12.99 in stores but some consumers are re-selling the product online, with one of the rats recently selling for £27.95 on eBay.
