Aldi has recalled a homeware item that could be unsafe to use

Aldi has shared a warning for those who have purchased homeware in stores.

The recall has been made as a precautionary safety measure.


The discount supermarket chain has recalled a pumpkin tealight holder.

Anyone who has bought the affected item can return it to stores for a full refund.

Aldi said: "Our supplier is recalling the Pumpkin Ceramic Tealight Holder as a precautionary safety measure.

"Anyone who bought this product should return it to their nearest store for a full refund.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

This comes as Asda recalled wooden candlesticks that had a risk of fire.

Tesco also had an ongoing recall for a light sold in stores.

Anyone who has purchased the item has been asked to return it as soon as possible.
