The flowers have grown in popularity with customers on social media

Aldi has launched a new range of buildable flowers similar to LEGO sets at a fraction of the cost, offering a creative Valentine's Day gift option for just £2.99.

The budget retailer's Bloom in Blocks Building Flowers, are available in stores now but are selling out fast, and unlike real flowers, won't die within days.

The affordable building sets have arrived in Aldi's famous middle aisle just in time for Valentine's Day celebrations, offering customers the chance to create lasting floral displays.

The new range includes sets featuring roses, orchids, and tulips, with piece counts varying from 52 to 159 pieces per set.

Each flower set comes complete with a detailed how-to guide, aiming to make assembling straightforward for builders of all skill levels.

The sets offer a creative alternative to traditional Valentine's gifts, designed to be suitable for both date night activities and as presents for loved ones.

The supermarket said: "Aldi is offering shoppers a fun and affordable way to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. Prepare to say 'I love you' with flowers that will never fade.

"Those looking to impress will need to be quick though, as with all Specialbuys, once they're gone, they're gone."

Customer reactions to the new range have been enthusiastic, with social media users sharing their experiences.

One person took to TikTok to express their satisfaction, stating: "I have the whole set done and am very impressed, they are just like Lego ones."

Another customer said: "They should get it in every Aldi, I want one too." One more excited flower fan added: "Oh my god, I need to run to Aldi tomorrow."

The quickness element is noticeable with some Britons struggling to get hold of the product. An Aldi shopper said: "Been to three Aldi's and only one had two in. Cannot get hold of the others, I’m gutted."

The supermarket has also launched a new dried sweet treat into stores priced at just £1.99.

Bebeto Freeze Dried Sweets enter stores today following huge popularity on social media.

But shoppers will need to act quickly to secure their bags of the trendy treats as they also form part of Aldi's Specialbuys range.

The Bebeto Freeze Dried Sweets come in two "tantalising" varieties: retro Peach Rings and refreshing Watermelon Slices.
