Shoppers have been told to "be quick" if they want to pick up the frozen treat

Aldi has announced the return of its sell-out Langham's Cuisine Doggy Ice Cream to stores nationwide from April 14.

The popular pet treat is making its comeback for the third year in a row following overwhelming demand from shoppers.

When first launched, the doggy dessert proved so popular that 30 tubs were flying off shelves every minute.

The frozen treat will be available in the freezer aisle at £2.99 for a pack of four tubs - just under 75p per serving.

Pet owners are advised to shop quickly as the limited-edition product will only be available while stocks last.

The ice cream comes in two flavours - Pea & Vanilla and Carrot & Apple - giving pet owners a choice of treats for their furry friends.

Made with real fruit and vegetables, the 100% plant-based dessert offers a nutritious snack option for dogs.

Each tub contains 110ml of the frozen treat, designed to help keep pets cool during warmer weather.

The doggy ice cream provides a guilt-free way for owners to indulge their pets with a refreshing summer treat. The product's return follows significant customer demand after previous limited runs sold out rapidly across Aldi stores.

Alongside the return of its popular pet treat, Aldi is set to launch the UK's first supermarket own-brand aluminium wine bottle on the same date.

The Costellore Pinot Grigio, priced at £5.99 for a 75cl bottle, will hit shelves on 14th April.

The launch represents Aldi's latest move in sustainable packaging innovation. The aluminium bottle weighs just 95g, making it 75% lighter than standard glass bottles and fully recyclable.

This significant weight reduction translates to transport savings of over five tonnes per truckload - equivalent to a small elephant. The wine is shipped directly from Italy and bottled at a sustainably powered UK winery.

Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK Julie Ashfield said: "Our buying teams are constantly exploring ways to offer greater value and greener choices for our customers.

"Shoppers are looking for ways to make a difference, and we're proud to be leading the way with innovations like this aluminium wine bottle, building on our commitment to sustainable packaging."
