Aldi has launched a pizza delivery service to rival big name takeaways

Aldi will launch a pizza delivery service that will be available in just a few weeks time.

Those living in three cities across the UK will be able to benefit.

Hungry shoppers will be able to pick from items in its Ultimate Takeaway range.

Pizzas will be available to order for just £3.99 each, with free delivery.

Takeaway pizzas can cost anywhere from £10 to more than £20, making this an affordable option to have a treat.

The delivery options include three pizzas inspired by Domino's - The Meaty One, The Banger and The Texas Style BBQ Chicken & Bacon.

Customers in Manchester, Cardiff and Edinburgh are able to get in on the action.

However, it is a limited time deal and can only be delivered on Tuesday, October 3, between 5pm-9pm.

Shoppers are able to pre-book their delivery now at aldipizzadelivery.co.uk.

Those who use the delivery service will also be among the first to test out the new pizza range.

The Ultimate Takeaway range launches the following week, on October 9.

Managing director of buying at Aldi UK Julie Ashfield said: “With prices of takeaways soaring, we’re excited to be able to offer shoppers delicious pizzas at a fraction of the price of expensive high-street chains.

“The quality ingredients and affordable price of the Ultimate Takeaway range will no doubt change people’s idea of the supermarket pizza.
