Shoppers have been urged to stop using Tower 2 Litre Air Fryers sold in TK Maxx and Homesense stores between November 2024 and April 2025.
The product has been identified with a manufacturing defect that could cause dangerous overheating.

TK Maxx
TK Maxx warned that under certain circumstances, this fault could pose a significant "fire risk" in homes across the UK.
Customers who have purchased this air fryer were instructed to "stop using it immediately" and instead, return it to any TK Maxx or HomeSense store.
A full refund or replacement will be provided to all customers returning the recalled items.

This latest recall follows a broader safety issue with Tower Air Fryers manufactured between January 2022 and April 2023, with the same overheating and fire risk.
These were sold by major retailers including Tesco, Argos, B&M Bargains, Poundland, Robert Dyas and more.
Tower Housewares assured customers that the risk level was deemed "low" by Trading Standards. However, the air fryers were recalled as a "precautionary measure".
The Office for Product Safety and Standards previously advised owners to "stop using them immediately".
