Heart attacks are among the leading causes of death in the UK, partly due to their strong links with prevalent health conditions.
While medical advances have introduced various interventions to reduce risk, maintaining a health lifestyle remains one of the most effective forms of protection.
Cardiologists have long issued the same warnings about heart attack prevention, highlighting the role of dietary choices for people under 60.
Dr Evan Levine recently took to TikTok to divulge crucial advice about avoiding premature heart attacks. He highlighted sugary drinks as an important concern.

"Avoid all those sugary drinks, especially soda," Dr Levine stressed in his warning to viewers.
The cardiologist also highlighted the importance of getting a preventative screening, particularly for those in middle age.
"Get a coronary artery calcium scan if you're over 40," he advised.
"If the coronary artery calcium score is over 100, that's showing us that it's equivalent to having artery disease."
The expert's warning comes amid growing concerns about heart attack risks and their connections to other conditions.
Studies continue to yield evidence that sugary fizzy drinks pose a significant heart attack risk through multiple mechanisms.
When consumed regularly, the beverages elevate blood pressure, increase triglycerides, and chronic inflammation in blood vessels.
Ultimately, these combined effects severely impair blood flow to the heart, raising the likelihood of cardiac events.

Most concerning, new research recently found that exercise alone cannot offset the negative effects of sugary drink consumption.
These findings emerged from a comprehensive study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, which tracked the health of more than 100,000 adults over three decades.
Findings showed that physical activity, despite its many health benefits, cannot counteract the harmful effects of sugary beverages.
The revelation underscores the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices in heart attack prevention.
