She shared some news with her social media followers days after issuing a lengthy statement about Graziano Di Prima
Zara McDermott has shared a "life update" post on social media just days after breaking her silence following the Graziano Di Prima axe.
After speaking out about her "distressing" Strictly Come Dancing experience alongside the dancer, McDermott has now shared an "extremely sensitive" project she's working on.
Di Prima, 30, has been axed from the show for his treatment of Love Island star McDermott, 27, which was reviewed during a BBC probe into Strictly Come Dancing.
It followed the controversy surrounding Giovanni Pernice, who has also left the series as a result of separate incidents.
It was revealed DI Prima allegedly "kicked and spat on" McDermott during training for last year's show, and in a statement released after his sacking he explained he "deeply regrets the events that led" to his departure.
The dancer also claimed his "intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime".

McDermott, who appeared close with her dance partner during the series, admitted her experience off-camera was very different.
She shared her thoughts in a lengthy statement earlier this week, and has now posted another update on her Instagram.
Posting a snap of herself smiling with a camera perched on her shoulder, McDermott penned: "Doing what I love… the best job in the world. The art of storytelling through documentaries… and I’m learning more and more every single day (including how to properly use a camera and hopefully direct one day).
"I cannot believe I’ve been doing this job for almost 5 years now. We are currently working on an incredible new series that has been in production for a good while; I would love to tell you more but it’s about an extremely sensitive subject (perhaps my most sensitive yet) and it’s impossible for me to talk about without my compromising the safety of our contributors.
"There’s an incredible team around me who are helping me navigate this subject with so much care & purpose. When I can share more, I will. thank you guys for all your recent love and support on my work xxx."
Linking the post in her Instagram stories, she wrote: "A little work/life update."
McDermott has been at the helm of some hard-hitting documentaries over the last few years, including Zara McDermott: Revenge Porn in 2021.
In the same year, she fronted Uncovering Rape Culture before hosting Disordered Eating in 2022.
Her fourth documentary was titled Gaia: A Death on Dancing Ledge and explored the 2017 death of teenager Gaia Pope.
