The Repair Shop favourite Will Kirk has made a name for himself as the trusty furniture restorer on the beloved BBC series, but it seems his hard work comes at a price, much to the inconvenience of his wife, Polly.
Kirk, 39, has featured on the series since its launch in 2017, quickly winning fans over with his dedication to fixing the cherished and irreplaceable items of guests entering the barn.
While he is always on-hand to fix or assist with restoring items to a state in which owners fondly remember them, Kirk isn't left with much time to use his skills to fix things around his own house.
Polly, whom Kirk has been married to since 2021, seemingly gets frustrated by Kirk's refusal to allow anyone else to undertake work in the house he prefers to perfect himself.
Touching on his life with Polly and their two children, who reside in Surrey, he admitted: "[Polly] says to me, 'Will, when are you going to sand the b****y floor in the front room?'
"And then I have got to do stuff in the bathroom and then there's the kitchen.

BBC"There is always something that needs fixing. It is never ending."
Speaking to The Mirror, he admitted: "My wife did say, 'You know if you can't sand the floor and you're not happy with it, we can always get someone in?'
"And I said, 'No way! No way! Not in this house!' It is hard, especially with two children as well but I absolutely love it."
Kirk's hands are definitely full with filming the show, running his own furniture-fixing business and being a father to two young children.

Kirk and Polly welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2022, with a son following in October 2024.
The TV personality went on to tell the publication how he always had the intention of using his wood-working talents to create unique toys for his children, but sadly hasn't found the time to complete the sweet mission just yet.
"When we had our first child, I thought, 'Wouldn't it be lovely to make all these handmade toys for her?' But no," he reflected.
"I don't have the time. I got halfway through one thing and then I got so busy... that's life.
"And now I've got a second child. There's no way that he's getting anything anytime soon."
Kirk continues to impress with his fixes, having recently reduced a guest to tears of relief when he managed to make a sentimental shirt which had been accidentally destroyed look as good as new.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
In a visit to the iconic Repair Shop barn, which aired in late January, Lloyd Richards and his wife, Karen, met Kirk to explain what had happened to a beloved rugby shirt.
It had belonged to Lloyd's late father, Brian, who had played for Wales in the 1960s.
Karen was heartbroken to have ruined the colours when she attempted to give the shirt a clean in the wash, and had been consumed by guilt ever since.
Thankfully, Kirk managed to work his magic and by the time the couple came to collect it, they admitted the shirt looked better than it had "before it went in the wash," with Karen in floods of happy tears over the restoration.
