Coronation Street legend says 'its time to leave' after ITV AXE him in email

Coronation Street legend Bruce Jones has revealed that ITV has apologised to him after he was told the news that his character would die via an email.

Bruce Jones, who portrayed Les Battersby for ten years, was informed his beloved character is to be written out but revealed that "maybe it is time".
