Olly Alexander has today dropped the full music video for his Eurovision song Dizzy.
The Years and Years band member and It's A Sin actor previewed the single last month after being unveiled as the 2024 UK entry last year.
Alexander, 33, shared his delight at being given the job of representing the UK at this year's contest in Sweden during an episode of Strictly Come Dancing in 2023.
He told Claudia Winkleman: "I love Eurovision so much, it’s a dream come true. I’m just so, so excited."
And given his experience rocketing up the charts with pop band Years and Years before their split, hopes had been high that Alexander's track Dizzy could bring glory back to the United Kingdom.
However, after dropping the full-length track - weeks after a divisive snippet of the song emerged - fans remain split on the UK's chances.

One enthusiastic music lover penned on X, formerly Twitter, about Dizzy: "I am in shock this is a UK entry. The PRODUCTION. Subtle reminder to those that came before not too long ago.. electro velvet.. josh dubovie.. ENGLEBURT HUMPERDINK. The UK is on an upward trajectory."
"An amazing song and video," a second added followed by the confident prediction: "2024 winner."
Another showed their support: "Wow Olly Alexander! Insanely obsessed with the rhythm & the style of #Dizzy. It's very catchy. It reminds me of the 2000s sound."
However, even those fond of the track fear it won't be enough to bag the UK victory: "'Dizzy' actually sounds better then I expected from the snippets. Can't see it win #Eurovision though. And to do good Olly needs to bring his A-game and a spectacular staging."

PAOthers were slightly less favourable with their opinions, including one person who replied to the Eurovision X account after it shared the music video: "Does everyone have to say it’s good when it’s s***?"
A second also feared the worst: "Fantastic song and Olly is amazing however and being realistic this year the competition is too high and there are better songs than DIzzy."
And a third pulled no punches: "Olly Alexander - Dizzy. This song is the biggest pile of absolute s****, he's going to get nil points... The song is a desperate attempt #Meh #Boring #NotGood #CarCrash." (sic)
GB News' own Pip Thomson and Michael Portillo shared their verdicts on the track on Friday's Breakfast.

"First of all, I have a lot of time for Olly Alexander," Michael began after a snippet of the song played in the studio. "I saw him in It's A Sin which I thought was sensational.
"He's also a very serious musician with a very good pedigree so it seems to me, this year, we are fielding one of our best."
However, Michael wasn't too keen on Dizzy: "I must say, that song didn't do it for me. I don't feel that's going to be a winner."
But Pip had high hopes: "I don't know, it's got a bit of a hook to it!"
