A TV cosmetic doctor has been found to have given a patient free botox in return for sex at his clinic, according to a medical tribunal.

Dr Tijion Esho, who had starred on ITV’s This Morning, BBC’s Morning Live and E4’s Body Fixers among other shows, admitted to a tribunal he had an inappropriate relationship with a woman, referred to as Patient A.

Esho, 42, told the Medical Tribunal Practitioners Service (MPTS) hearing he’d had no sexual contact with Patient A, but an MPTS panel ruled he did have sexual intercourse with her at his clinic in Newcastle in 2021 before administering botox free of charge.

It was ruled he’d also told Patient A he “could get away with giving her botox in exchange for sexual services”.

The panel found he’d also made inappropriate comments about Patient A’s appearance and had stroked her hair and rubbed himself against her.

The doctor was a regular on Body Fixers, which aired for two series in 2016 and 2017, and had also appeared giving medical advice on Morning Live up until 2022.

ITV reports a number of “inappropriate” Instagram messages were also sent to Patient A between 2019 and 2022, the tribunal heard.

The panel ruled the conduct of Esho was sexually motivated but did not find Patient A, who provided sex services through OnlyFans and webcams, to be vulnerable because of her profession.

The hearing will reconvene later in the month to decide whether Dr Esho’s misconduct will impair his fitness to practice.

Esho is also the founder of the Esho Clinic, which has branches in London, Liverpool and Dubai.

According to The Independent, examples of the “inappropriate” messages sent to Patient A included an interaction rom September 2019 in which he wrote: “What you doing to me lol. Morning Glory. Bloody have me wanting the real thing. That’s like every man’s dream.”

In December of the same year, he sent: “Lol loving the tongue” and “Ha free mls I’d need the whole booty and more”.

Just weeks later, he reportedly told Patient A: “My God having you for a night/every night is a dream but if we do it for mls I break the doctors code and I’d be a dead man x lol.” (sic)

The programmes now use different experts, and This Morning has seen the biggest shakeup involving all its presenters this year.

After the exits of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby in 2023, the show had been fronted by different faces, and it was announced in February that Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard would become the new permanent presenters.
