Dr Uchenna Okoye died at the age of 53 on September 15
The cause of the tragic death of This Morning's resident dental expert Dr Uchenna Okoye has been confirmed.
The doctor died on Friday, September 15 aged 53 and tributes from a number of her co-stars have poured out since.
MailOnline obtained a coroner's report following Dr Okoye's death which revealed the cause of death was a "subarachnoid haemorrhage".
The haemorrhage was sparked by a ruptured blood vessel and ended up causing bleeding in the space around the brain.
The news comes days after a friend of the family, Mars Webb stated Okoye died after collapsing at her London home.
Webb told the Daily Mail: "There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. She was a happy, healthy, and busy person, with no apparent health problems.
"Her passing has come as a total shock to everybody - it came totally out of the blue but sadly, this does sometimes happen to healthy people who can suddenly pass without explanation.
