Bigfoot has made it to the final show despite being an underdog, but could fall at the final hurdle

The Masked Singer will be back on screens tonight for its grand finale, with three remaining contestants: Piranha, Cricket and Bigfoot. However, it seems like it could be bad news for the latter.

Bigfoot has made it all the way to the end of the series despite being considered unlikely to win the show and new odds reveal Bigfoot is the least likely to be crowned winner this weekend.

According to updated odds from Gambling.com, Bigfoot could face the boot at the very last hurdle.

Gambling.com's TV betting experts have predicted Bigfoot won't be in the final two, giving the contestant odds of 6/1 of making it to victory.

The probability of the character going all the way is just 14.3 percent, according to the betting company.

Piranha, on the other hand, is the favourite to win with odds of 6/4 or a 40 per cent probability. Cricket, at 3/1 or 25 per cent, is placed in the middle of the list just hours before the all-important finale airs.

Bigfoot has provided plenty of entertainment throughout the series and has kept fans guessing, but unfortunately the character's luck may have run out.

A spokesperson for the betting company stated: "Some Masked Singer fans were left stunned that Bigfoot has made it to Saturday's Grand Finale.

“The character has been an outsider to win the series with the bookies for most of the season, but the fact he has avoided the boot means he is in with a chance of causing an upset in the final."

Several clues have appeared to be a nod that Alex Brooker is Bigfoot. He wears a prosthetic leg after his right leg had to be amputated when he was a baby, and is best known for hosting Channel 4 panel show The Last Leg.

As one of Bigfoot's clues, the character said: "I'm going to blow your sock off," which could be another nod to Alex.

Furthermore, Bigfoot has previously mentioned one of his strengths was that he was "once linked to a sporting rhinoceros", and it's thought this could also be a reference to Alex, who signed for the Leeds Rhinos' Foundation PDRL (Physical Disability Rugby League) team in 2018.

TV presenters and nature enthusiasts Hamza Yassin (6/1), Bear Grylls (8/1), and Ray Mears (10/1) are also in the Bigfoot discussion, but it would come as a huge surprise to viewers if Alex doesn't emerge as the character.

Elsewhere, a spokesperson for the betting company also commented on the other finalists. James Leyfield explained: "Air Fryer had been favourite to win the series before her early exit last weekend and Piranha has now taken over as the market leader with the bookies.

"The character is 6/4 to scoop the season five title, and McFly star Danny Jones is into 1/5 to be unmasked as the character.

Several clues have appeared to relate to the singer over the course of the series.

"These include Piranha mentioning golf term 'fairway', which could be a reference to the band's music video for 2004 hit Obviously, which was set on a golf course."

Cricket is thought to be either noughties singer Lemar or Blue star Simon. "Simon was the initial favourite to be Cricket, before the Lemar speculation took over," the betting expert stated.

"One of Cricket's clues was the words "all rise", and it's thought that could be a nod to Blue's hit 2001 album of the same name. Another hint that it could be Simon is that there is a former English cricketer called Simon Webb.

"However, there have been other clues about Fame Academy, and Lemar finished third on the first series of the talent show in 2002. With just days away until the Grand Finale, it's just 8/11 that Lemar is behind the Cricket mask, while it's 11/8 that it is Simon.

"Another star in the running is pro boxer Anthony Joshua, who is the 5/1 third favourite to be Cricket.

"Several clues could relate, including "gold dust", after the boxer won gold at the London 2012 Olympics, and Cricket also said he "got dizzy while perched on a sofa". It's thought that might be a nod to Anthony being good friends with rapper Dizzee Rascal."
