Broadcaster Terry Christian has come under fire from a number of TV viewers following a series of rants about the ongoing Covid inquiry.
On Tuesday, a number of revelations emerged after Dominic Cummings faced a grilling as part of the Covid inquiry in which WhatsApp messages showed he'd referred to cabinet ministers as "f*****s".
Cummings had also called Matt Hancock a "liar" and while other messages appeared to show Johnson's reluctance to shut down the country due to the average age of those who died of Covid.
Kicking off the debate about the Covid inquiry, Dominique Samuels - who was opposed to the inquiry in the first place - explained: "We're actually saying we should have gone harder and faster, which is obviously something I completely disagree with.
"So I think it's a waste of money. I think we should be focusing on rebuilding the economy as because of the actions of this government, our country's crumbling. Instead of umm-ing and ahh-ing of what we should do and shouldn't do in hindsight."
Christian disagreed as he weighed in: "At least the evidence is now out there. It will quash your conspiracy theorists, shut them up for good.

"What it teaches you as well as a country is that you cannot vote for incompetent liars."
Host Kate Garraway interjected to ask if the inquiry "informs" opinions on future elections which prompted Christian to claim: "It's a really important thing – so many people died, so many people suffered. Everybody was touched by it. This could come around again, a deadlier virus."
Samuels rolled her eyes as Christian continued: "We need to make sure that we have competent people involved to deal with it next time. This is the biggest crisis that this country has had since World War II."
When Samuels tried to respond to Christian's point, he dismissed her as he ranted: "You've not let me finish."
"Alright, wrap it up then," Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley said as Christian continued to try and dominate the discussion.
He went on: "We need to get all of this out in the open. We need to know how to deal with these things in the future and we need to quash all these ridiculous conspiracy theories that are doing the rounds. Let's get all the facts out there."
When Samuels attempted to ask Christian to explain "what conspiracy theories" he was referring too, Christian refused to engage as he rambled on: "There was £3billion just in PPE fraud alone in Covid, a few hundred million for an inquiry is money well spent."
Madeley moved the conversation on to ask if the pair were "surprised" by the language used in the messages in regards to the approach to older people, to which Samuels admitted she "didn't agree with that wording".
However, she argued: "But if you look at it from an objective point of view without any emotion involved, any illness is going to affect older people first."
She then referred to a study she'd seen which suggested lockdowns only "temporarily" prevented excess deaths to which Garraway interrupted to say Samuels had merely read something that supported her view on lockdown.
Samuels slapped back at the ITV presenter by pointing out that excess deaths are rising now and affecting older age groups as she commented: "This is the problem with the idea that anyone who opposed lockdown was a conspiracy theorist."
Christian screwed his face up, however, and harped back: "I don't even believe you've looked at the data!"

When Samuels claimed the inquiry was a "farce", Christian's frustration grew as he interrupted and yelled: "A quarter of a million people died and you think it's a farce!"
Christian continued to speak over Samuels as he fumed: "What about the ineptness of the people running the country? What happens when the next virus comes around? Are you gonna say, 'It only kills old people', while your mates are dying?"
Samuels again rolled her eyes at Christian's suggestions another pandemic could be on the way and require a similar approach to Covid and told Christian: "Is that what the inquiry is going to do though? Think about it logically, nobody's going to jail. It's a pantomime designed to rile poeple up."
The debate sparked anger among several GMB viewers at home, with many taking issue with Christian's stance on the country's approach to lockdowns as well as the need for the current inquiry.
One viewer said on X, formerly Twitter: "Dominique always speaks sense, Terry Christian I don't even understand what his input gives us..."
A second also slammed: "Terry Christian being an angry little man. Why on Earth is he so desperate? Can’t speak a word of realism."
Elsewhere, a third raged: "Terry Christian the left wing anti Brexit spangle. If your opinion doesn’t align with his, you're wrong. Scraping the bottom of the barrel gmb news."
And a fourth agreed: "@GMB Has-been Terry Christian says we must not vote again for incompetent liars. Well Terry looks like according to polls that exactly what we will be doing. Hopefully people will wake up & look at last Labour Govt & how they bankrupted Britain, look at mess in Wales & London."
Another hit out: "@terrychristian is the biggest hypocrite going. Shouting at people to let him speak…Yet all he does is interrupt & screech over anyone trying to calmly convey their point. What a gross person."
However, there was some defence of Christian's ramblings, as one viewer argued: "Bravo, Terry Christian, for putting those defending the indefensible in their place. Of course a widespread Covid inquiry is/was totally necessary." (sic)
