Si King has given fans an exciting update about his future and admitted there are some “projects” coming later in the year.
Hairy Bikers: Go West, the duo's final series before Dave Myers's death, came to an emotional end at the beginning of the month, with fans watching their close relationship for the final time.
Myers died earlier this year after battling with cancer but made sure he got back on his motorbike one last time for their final series.
King has been silent on social media since Myers’ death, but recently revealed he is working on some projects which will be included in summer festivals across the country this year.
Taking to Instagram, King posted an image alongside Myers and penned: “Dave and I were so chuffed to be nominated once again for the Fortnum & Mason Food Personality of the Year Award for the 4th year running.
“Dave was so proud of this award, particularly because it’s voted for by our loyal followers and fans, the people who matter most to us.
“It’s really strange for us all not to have Dave around but for now, we will keep posting on the Hairy Bikers socials to keep in touch with all those people who have been so kind over many years and particularly in recent weeks.
“We’ll also keep you updated on the events and projects which will live on and I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at some of the Summer festivals this year.”
Fans were thrilled to have an update from King, with one commenting: “Si, whilst it will be unbearably difficult to consider right now.
“Dave would want you to continue sharing your cooking. I hope you do and with it share your memories of this cherished friendship we were all privileged to be a small part of.”

“Congratulations and well done to both of you for the nomination. You have brought so much joy and inspiration to so many people,” a third wrote.
“He was an inspirational man Dave and condolences to his family and friends and Si and keep up all the amazing work you do,” another added.
A fifth weighed in: “Still watching all your shows and always will, as it makes me smile when I’m sad and cheers me up the food and banter Dave and Si give.

Unaware that it would be their final time on-screen together, King emotionally paid tribute to his co-star as he said during the last episode: “We planned to go west mate and we’ve made it!”
Myers added: “We have, and it’s been tough at times. I have chemotherapy all the time we’ve been filming. It hasn’t been easy… [but] we’ve got there, and it’s just a wonderful feeling.”
“Being here today with you, you know, I long for it. It’s been a dream come true Kingy. Who knows what the future holds? But for the moment, I’m living in the present and it’s pretty fine, I tell you.”
