Sam Thompson has made a rare return to social media following reports of his split from girlfriend Zara McDermott after five years together.
The former Made in Chelsea star, 32, took to Instagram on Monday morning to share an upbeat message with his followers, just days after reports emerged of the couple's separation.
The pair, who had been together since 2019 and shared a luxurious London home with their cats, reportedly ended their relationship after growing apart during a challenging year that saw them spending significant time apart due to work commitments.
In his latest Instagram video, Thompson enthusiastically declared: "It may be raining, there may be ice sheets of rain in my eyeballs right now...
"But I feel you're going to have a really good day. You're going to have a really good week - and I'm never wrong. I promise you. Let's have it!"
Thompson concluded his upbeat Monday update with a plug for a new episode of his podcast Staying Relevant that he hosts with BBC Strictly star, Pete Wicks.

Thompson's positive update mirrors another one he shared after the reports of his split emerged just days ago.
In a similar fashion, he told his Instagram followers: "New Year! 2025 baby come on let's have it! I can't wait. The New Year is going to be amazing and you're going to have the best year ever. And you know I'm always right." (sic)
The couple spent the festive period apart, with Thompson volunteering for charity on Christmas Day while McDermott, 28, stayed with family in Upminster, Essex.
New Year's Eve also saw the pair celebrating separately, as Thompson partied at London's Kensington Roof Gardens with former Made in Chelsea co-stars Reza Amiri-Garroussi and Josh Patterson.

McDermott opted to remain at home with their cats to welcome in 2025.
Despite signs of strain, McDermott had commissioned thoughtful Christmas presents for Thompson, sharing on social media: "I wanted to get something super meaningful so I had these paintings made... they look a bit random but they are all the meaningful things he loves."
The couple's relationship reportedly faced challenges during Thompson's recent stint in Australia, where he worked on I'm A Celebrity's spin-off show Unpacked.
McDermott addressed her absence from Australia during an Instagram Q&A, explaining: "I'm filming my documentary about stalking at the moment and it's really not possible to take time off filming at short notice."
She added that Thompson's early morning work schedule and closed set arrangements would have meant limited time together: "Sam has to get up for work at 1am every day, it's a closed set so I wouldn't be able to go to work with him."
A source told MailOnline: "After a tough year of working hard at their romance, they have split and will be focusing on their individual careers going forward into 2025."

The couple had faced relationship difficulties earlier in 2024, with reports of tensions emerging over the summer.
In June, they were spotted having what appeared to be an argument, though McDermott later clarified she was "telling him positive affirmations in a very passionate manner."
The pair shared their London home with two cats, Albus and Cedric, and lived next door to Thompson's sister Louise.
Their last public appearance together was at McDermott's birthday celebration in December, where Thompson called her his 'soulmate' and 'best friend' in an Instagram post.
Less than a week later, Thompson was seen outside Stringfellows strip club at 4am with TOWIE's Wicks.
