Rocker Rod Stewart has shared an exciting announcement with fans, revealing he is "thrilled" by the update and leaving social media followers delighted.
The 80-year-old took to Instagram to share how his Ultimate Hits album, which will be a collection of some of his most popular tunes, is soon to be released.
Alongside a snap of his album cover, he wrote: "I'm thrilled to let you know that The Ultimate Hits collection is now available for pre-order and it's coming your way June 27th!
"It's packed with the classics you know and love. Pre-order now and be ready to sing along when it drops!"
Despite having recently turned 80, the Maggie May hit-maker is constantly working on music projects.
The post sent fans into meltdown as they welcomed the news, which comes amid constant speculation the singer may soon retire.
Emphasising how Stewart's music spans generations, one penned: "I'll be singing along in Paso Robles, CA. My mom is coming from Canada and I'm brining my teen daughter too. 3 generations!"
"Good News!!!!!!!! Rod The Mod," a second wrote, with another echoing: "Great news!"

Last November, Stewart added to fears he'd soon be retiring when he shared another major announcement about his career, leaving fans heartbroken.
In a social media post, he issued a statement which read: "This will be the end of large-scale world tours for me," but he reassured fans they haven't seen the last of him as he added: "But I have no desire to retire."
The statement continued: "I love what I do, and I do what I love.
"I'm fit, have a full head of hair, and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79.
"I'd like to move onto a Great American Songbook, Swing Fever tour the year after next - smaller venues and more intimacy.
