Strictly Come Dancing stars Claudia Winkleman and Amy Dowden have paid their respects to Robin Windsor, who on Tuesday morning was confirmed to have died at the age of 44.
Presenter Winkleman paid tribute to the late dancer on social media as she responded to choreographer Karen Hauer's Instagram post about the sad news, writing: "That’s heartbreaking xx."
Dowden, who had to miss last year's Strictly Come Dancing as she continues to battle cancer, also replied to Hauer's post, simply leaving a heartbroken emoji.
The Welsh professional dancer also took to her Instagram Story where she penned in honour of Windsor: "In such shock this morning to wake to the news... RIP @robinwindsor. Such a kind, talented soul."
A flood of tributes has also poured in from fans and former celebrity partners who've shared their shocked responses to the tragic news.
Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, who danced with Windsor in the 10th series of Strictly Come Dancing, left a heartbreaking message on her own social media.
The 47-year-old, clearly devastated, penned: "My Bestie, My Robin, My Angel…….now our forever Angel, who is loved, will always be loved, forever in my heart……
"My very broken heart, I love you, shine your beautiful, electric energy from heaven. SHINE IN PEACE," along with a string of heartbroken emojis. (sic)
She shared with her followers a series of photos of her sharing laughs and smiles with the dancer, who took part in the BBC competition from 2010 to 2014.
Long-serving judge on the show, Craig Revel Horwood, posted a tribute on X, formerly Twitter. He wrote: "I have just heard the tragic news my dear friend ’Bobby’ Robin Windsor has passed.
"He was one of the kindest, gentle, honest, funny and caring people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with.
"He will be forever missed. My heart goes out to all his family & friends. RIP darling man, you were truly loved x."
Channel 5 broadcaster Dan Walker joined the famous faces in posting a poignant message, adding: "How sad to hear about the death of Robin Windsor. Just 44 years old! He sent me the kindest message when I was on Strictly and he was loved by so many on that show."

Fellow former professional James Jordan was among the first to pay tribute on the social media platform, commenting: "I had the pleasure of working with this man for many years on Strictly.
"Everyone who came in contact with him adored him, from his celebrity partners to his working colleagues.”
Hauer's post also featured a touching snap of a smiling Windsor as she reflected: "I’m Heartbroken... Robin, you Beautiful human being. I can’t believe it. RIP."
Erin Boag, who also featured as a professional dancer on the show from series one to 10, wrote on X: "Such sad news to hear the passing of Robin Windsor. A truly great talented man. My thoughts are with his family. Robin you will be missed by so many. RIP."
GB News host Eamonn Holmes also shared heartfelt comments about the late star on Tuesday's Breakfast show.
"I knew him and indeed even danced with him as has my wife [Ruth Langsford]," Holmes shared before adding: "I got the dance the Tango with him at, of all places, Old Trafford.
"[He was] very, very popular," Eamonn went on before co-star Isabel Webster added: "Very popular and very able.
"Goodness me, I don't know what's happened there - 44, no age at all. I'm sure we'll find out what's happened."
Dance company Burn The Floor announced the 44-year-old's death in the early hours of Tuesday morning, taking to social media to share the news.
The post read: "The Burn the Floor family has lost one of its founding members, Robin “Bobby” Windsor - who has tragically passed away.
“A BTF journeyman he danced with us for twenty years - including Broadway, The West End and all our crazy adventures around the world.
"His stunning image attached with Jessica Raffa defined our company, colourful, extreme and sensual.
“His talent, attitude, energy and personality helped create the Burn the Floor stage reputation.
“He leaves a void in our hearts that will never be filled, yet our wonderful memories will stay forever.” (sic)
