Former Take That singer Robbie Williams has taken to Instagram to share a clip allaying concern from fans over his wellbeing.
Over the past few days, Williams has shared a series of artwork on his page alongside a number of candid and cryptic captions which has prompted his followers to reach out.
One such post included a drawing of two stick figures with the words "my ideal weight is people being worried about me" etched above.
He accompanied this particular post with a lengthy caption which included the quote: "I could write a book about self loathing where my body image is concerned.
"Like pure self hatred, The ugliness of feeling ugly.
"I'm body dysmorphic and on top of being dysmorphic at times I can be 40+ pounds over weight.
"So you can imagine what my mind sees. Or maybe you can’t either way its a f*****g disaster." (sic)

While Williams' candor prompted floods of praise from some followers who felt they could relate, others were quick to voice their concern for the 49-year-old.
So in an update shared on Thursday evening, Williams decided to provide an explanation to his cryptic art pieces and assure fans he's "really well and really happy".
He said in a series of clips on his Instagram Story: “Yo! Hi everybody.
"Just thought I’d give you a proper update. So, it has been brought to my attention that some people have been worried about me because of the captions with my art.
“But I wanted to let you know I’m really good, really well, really happy.
“My intention for these drawings was just to give a bit of a smile to the mind, but then people were responding really lovely to the captions.
“And you know, tragedy plus time equals comedy. Once you have to explain the comedy, it’s just the tragedy.”

“So like, 'Once I was stripped of my last bit of dignity, I was surprised by how little I needed it'. I wrote those words about 18 months ago.
"And, 'My ideal goal weight is people being worried about me,' these are just sounds that past.
"I don't spend all of my time in these thoughts or in this energy.
"I'm very happy... very happy," the singer continued before he admitted: "But there's stains, inevitable stains.
"Not every day can be joyous and full of wonder, most days are just okay and that's brilliant!"
Williams has opened up about his health battles publicly before, including struggles with anxiety and depression.
