Ricky Gervais has taken to social media to pen a tribute to actor Ewen MacIntosh following his death.
MacIntosh worked alongside Gervais on award-winning sitcom The Office as well as Netflix comedy-drama, After Life.
Gervais penned on X, formerly Twitter: "Extremely sad news.
"The very funny and very lovely Ewen Macintosh, known to many as 'Big Keith' from The Office, has passed away.
"An absolute original. RIP," Gervais signed off to his followers.

UK TV channel Gold also took to X with a tribute of its own: "We at GOLD are saddened to hear that Ewen MacIntosh has passed away at the age of 50.
"We loved him as Keith in The Office and were lucky enough to work with him over the years on the channel. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends at such a difficult time."
Lizzie Cundy, who regularly appears on GB News, also took to social media with a statement: "I am devastated to hear my dear friend Ewen Macintosh has passed away.
"We were great mates and we danced together in Chris Rea’s Driving Home for Christmas video. Such a lovely man inside and out.. Love and prayers to his family."

Meanwhile, one fan praised MacIntosh for his work on The Office: "Terrible news about Ewen MacIntosh, aka Big Keith from The Office.
"He turned what could have been a nothing role into something truly iconic, one of the great comedy performances. RIP."
While a second simply echoed: "Ewen MacIntosh will forever be a legend."
A cause of death hasn't been confirmed but MacIntosh's pal Ed Scott, who broke the news on social media, said the actor had been cared for by "wonderful medical staff" of late.

Scott penned: "I am completely devastated by the loss of my very good friend @ewenmacintosh. He may have had a famous face known by millions as Keith from The Office but the person inside is what I will most remember.
"Ewen was so full of empathy, kindness, and integrity and above all a really good man. Sending love to his parents Sara and Ewen Sr, his brother Colin and his family, as well as his many friends and fans.
"Thanks to the incredible care and love provided by the wonderful medical staff and especially the nurses who all loved him when he brought a smile to their days.
"I saw first hand the empathy and incredible care they gave him was just so reassuring during the toughest of times and am forever grateful to them all. I will really miss you mate." (sic)
