The Grand Tour presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are going all out for their penultimate adventure of the series, with the upcoming show taking place in the Sahara desert.
Sand Job, which will launch on Amazon Prime Video on February 16, 2024, follows the trio as they embark on a trip around remote African country of Mauritania and take on grueling tasks in the heat.
Clarkson, Hammond, and May will attempt to complete their journey through Mauritania in cheap modified cars, something they have a lot of experience in.
They begin their trek on the world’s longest train, taking them to the edge of the Sahara where they will have to tackle the heat, perilous river crossings and other challenges on the way.
A trailer for the Amazon Prime show was released on Tuesday and gave a small insight into how the three friends coped on their journeys.
One scene sees their cars driving through a very remote Sahara, where Clarkson notes: “Mauritania is totally empty! Look at it!”

The next shows how their journey can change in a matter of moments as they try and get themselves through a bustling and busy street.
Attempting to get their cars through the crowds of people, May decides to add some thrill to their journey and winds his co-star up and purposefully crashing into Hammond.
The locals also appear to get in on the act and invade Hammond’s personal space.
Unable to do much, Hammond yells: “Stop crashing into me!” as Clarkson follows behind, laughing at his childish friends.
Another scene sees the three attempt to cross a river with their cars on makeshift boats, having to pump air to get themselves moving.

With Sand Job being the penultimate episode of the successful series, Hammond recently opened up on how it will appeal to their fanbase.
He said: “I think this special treads that path that we've travelled very carefully which is that you don't have to be a car nerd to watch the show because we do that for you.
“That's been our motto, spoken and unspoken, for all of the years we’ve done it because it's in our blood, it’s in our hearts and you can see it. I think it does look beautiful.
“We’ve gone somewhere that people don't get to go to, and it’s fabulous to put that on screen for people. Cajoling an Aston Martin across a massive desert is a unique experience, so from my point of view this was a huge reminder of how lucky we are to get to go and have an adventure like that.

“I hope people enjoy it. I think it's a fine example of the nonsense that we enjoy getting up to.”
It was announced by Clarkson last year that the series would be coming to an end after the three thought they had done everything they could with cars.
Clarkson admitted: “I’ve driven cars higher than anyone else and further north than anyone else… When we had meetings about what to do next, people just threw their arms in the air."
